David Jardini
Director
David Jardini has been a Director at Robroy Industries since 2011, bringing a diverse background in entrepreneurship, investment management, and organizational leadership. Across his career, David has co-founded numerous businesses, including most recently, PastFinders, a mobile app that inspires people to discover the rich history that surrounds and connects us.
David’s career includes leadership and advisory roles across a range of industries, especially metals-based manufacturing. In addition to the Robroy Industries Board, David serves on the boards of Premia Spine Ltd, Pittsburgh Foundry and Machine, American Gas Lamp Works, Compass Precision, and the Trade Institute of Pittsburgh. He has taught business and entrepreneurial history courses at Carnegie Mellon University and Washington and Jefferson College, and is the author of two books, Thinking Through the Cold War: RAND, National Security and Domestic Policy, 1945-1975 (2013) and The Rise and Fall of Pittsburgh Steel (forthcoming 2026).
