Director John A. Staley IV

John A. Staley IV has served on the Robroy Industries Board of Directors since 1996, bringing more than 50 years of leadership experience in the investment and financial services sectors. He is the founder of Staley Capital Advisers, Inc., an investment management firm he established to serve high-net-worth individuals and institutions seeking personalized financial guidance.

Before launching Staley Capital, John spent over two decades with Federated Hermes (formerly Federated Investors). Beginning his career there in 1969, he went on to serve as Chief Executive Officer and President of several Federated investment subsidiaries for 17 years, overseeing strategic growth and operational direction across the organization.

John earned his undergraduate degree from Duquesne University and an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He became a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania in 1966.

In addition to his board role at Robroy Industries, John serves or has served on the Boards of multiple privately held companies. He is a Trustee Emeritus of Duquesne University and has contributed his expertise to several nonprofit organizations including The University of Pittsburgh, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, and the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh as well as several religious organizations.
