The “Illuminations Award for Business Innovation” is an annual recognition of a company that demonstrates success through entrepreneurial growth and advanced technology or pioneering innovation. This year’s honor was presented to Rob McIlroy, President and CEO of Robroy Industries®, at NEMA’s Annual Membership Meeting awards luncheon held recently in Bonita Springs, Florida.

Criteria for the “Illuminations Award for Business Innovation” include entrepreneurial expertise and use of advanced technology and innovation, a commitment to safety, volunteerism in advancing the process of standards writing, commitments and accomplishments in mentoring, educational development, spreading the entrepreneurial spirit, and creative, supportive, unique contributions to advancing entrepreneurship.
