Robroy Industries Names John Irwin as General Manager of ECN/Korns Division

Robroy Industries is proud to announce the appointment of John Irwin as the new General Manager of its ECN/Korns division, headquartered in Avinger, Texas. With more than three decades of high-level operational experience in supply chain management, manufacturing leadership, and team transformation, John brings exceptional vision and proven leadership to one of Robroy’s most foundational divisions. 

In his new role, John will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the ECN/Korns division’s operations—including strategic planning, financial performance, personnel development, and manufacturing excellence. His focus will be on aligning the organization for long-term growth, improving operational efficiency, and sustaining ECN/Korns’ reputation for high-quality galvanized elbows, couplings, nipples, and Korns clamps. 

John carries with him an impressive resume of executive leadership in complex manufacturing and distribution environments. His career includes leading supply chain operations for large-scale organizations, managing high-volume production facilities, and driving award-winning productivity and performance. A lifelong learner, leader in continuous improvement, and expert in Lean Six Sigma disciplines, John has consistently delivered results in safety, quality, cost reduction, and employee engagement/retainment.

A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a B.B.A. in Management, John has also completed executive training from Harvard and other top-tier programs, complementing his practical experience with forward-thinking business strategy. His servant leadership approach, paired with a strong belief in team development and operational excellence, aligns seamlessly with Robroy’s core values of achievement, balance, appreciation, and trust.
