Robroy Industries Raceway Division Donates to Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels Ministry serves a daily meal to over 2,500 home-bound senior citizens. Often, this is the only meal a client will have each day, and the visit serves as a welfare check at the same time. During the COVID-19 crisis, the local Gilmer team had to make many adjustments and changes in order to accommodate social distancing and reduced schedules. The Meals on Wheels normal five-day deliveries are now reduced to only two days a week. To support the efforts of Meals on Wheels, Robroy Industries donated $2,000.00 last week to play a small part in promoting the health, safety and welfare of all elderly and disabled persons currently relying on their resources.
